聖地亞哥中華藝術文化學會首次在San Diego Museum of Art 舉辦東西文化交流活動
樂韻魅影:三弦獨奏
2024年6月8日傍晚,聖地亞哥藝術博物館舉辦了一場精彩的三弦獨奏音樂會。由中國青年演奏家高藝真女士擔任獨奏,活動由知名作曲家梁雷主持介紹。
他們帶領我們穿越中國,領略了流傳數千年的古老樂器——三弦的獨特魅力和表現力。三弦音樂以其優雅而不造作、通俗而不粗淺的特質,展現了包容性、多元性及豐富的表現力,讓不同民族的文化在三弦音樂中找到各自的音樂語言和表達方式。三弦音樂既可以溫柔、活潑歡快,也可以清麗、優雅,甚至高亢激昂或哀怨,早已融入大眾的音樂生活,成為中國傳統音樂文化非常獨特的一部分。
當天的音樂會吸引了眾多中西觀眾,大家對高藝真女士的演奏報以熱烈的掌聲。聖地亞哥藝術博物館執行長 Roxana Velasquez 親臨現場,表示能夠參加這個活動,見證如此美好的音樂會,實屬榮幸。她更提議將這樣的文化藝術交流活動變成一年一度的傳統。此外,聖地亞哥華僑社區代表,包括歷史博物館董事會主席劉麗容、中華學苑校長孫麗敏、北郡校長林玉英Carol Shuck、僑務委員杜夫人、聖地亞哥華人婦女協會等,與聖地亞哥中華藝術文化學會會員們一起度過了一個美好的藝術之夜。
活動中,學會理事及義工們精心準備了傳統美味點心和茶水,整個會場布置得富有濃郁的中國風情。中國【萬壽無疆】瓷具搭配華貴的牡丹花,來賓們身著旗袍或帶有中國元素的服裝,穿梭其中,整個會場洋溢著中國的富貴之氣,與當晚的三弦音樂相得益彰。
【萬壽無疆】瓷具的獨特歷史
本次活動中使用的【萬壽無疆】瓷具具有獨特的歷史背景。萬壽無疆瓷器最早出現於清朝乾隆年間,以其精美的工藝和象徵長壽與繁榮的寓意聞名。瓷器上的圖案多以壽桃、壽字、松鶴、牡丹等吉祥元素組成,象徵著長壽、富貴和吉祥如意。此次活動特別選用了這些瓷具,不僅增添了傳統文化氛圍,也表達了對來賓們的美好祝福。
此外,活動還安排了專人導覽美術館裏的中西美術作品,讓來賓們更深入了解著名畫作。這是一場屬於大家的中西藝術文化音樂饗宴,集美食、美景、音樂、學習和娛樂於一體,豐富了每個感官。多位專業的攝影師也在場為大家留下了美好的回憶。

San Diego Chinese Art and Cultural Society Hosts Inaugural East-West Cultural Exchange at San Diego Museum of Art
The San Diego Museum of Art (SDMA) transformed into a vibrant East-West cultural hub on the evening of June 8th, 2024, as the San Diego Chinese Art and Cultural Society (SDCACS) hosted its inaugural cultural exchange event. The event captivated audiences with a mesmerizing SanXian solo performance by the talented Ms. Yizhen Gao, a rising star in the Chinese music scene.
Ms. Gao, currently an associate professor at the TianJin Conservatory of Music and a visiting scholar at the University of California, San Diego, enthralled the crowd with her virtuosity on the traditional Chinese instrument. Under the direction of renowned composer and UCSD Chancellor's Distinguished Professor, Lei Liang, the evening transcended cultural boundaries through the universal language of music.The SanXian's timeless melodies transported the audience on a journey through Chinese musical heritage. Its graceful notes and remarkable adaptability showcased the depth and beauty of Chinese musical traditions, resonating with attendees from all backgrounds.
The event drew a diverse crowd, united in their appreciation for Ms. Gao's artistry. The evening was graced by the presence of Roxana Velasquez, Executive Director of the SDMA, who expressed her delight at being part of this enriching cultural experience. Ms. Velasquez enthusiastically proposed the prospect of transforming this exchange into an annual tradition at the museum.
Representatives from the San Diego Chinese community, including the Chair of the Historical Museum Board of Directors, the Principal of the San Diego Chinese Academy, and delegates from various associations, added their presence to the festivities.
Guests were fully immersed in Chinese culture. Traditional delicacies and tea complemented the elegant decor, featuring the exquisite "Wan Shou Wu Jiang" porcelain set. This porcelain, literally translating to "Ten Thousand Longevity and Prosperity," boasted majestic peony patterns and auspicious symbols, reflecting a heartfelt wish for longevity and good fortune for the attendees. Many guests donned elegant qipaos and traditional attire, adding to the vibrant atmosphere that resonated with the melodious strains of the SanXian.
A Deeper Cultural Immersion
Beyond the captivating performance, the event offered guided tours of both Chinese and Western artworks housed within the SDMA. This opportunity provided attendees with a deeper understanding of artistic mastery across cultures, creating a truly holistic cultural experience that stimulated all the senses.
