Capybara Sauna in Taiwan

The world around us parallels the world of havoc; but we always stay in our own bubble. Last year I created a drawing, two people sitting on a doc, watching a lake, flying whales, and working paper boats; this is the world around it. The world is constantly expanding around you, whether socially or physically, our actions affect others, as seen with the river becoming rain for others in the city, and our time is short. It may look pretty but the bird symbolizes how fast, and pretty, time can come and go. The planets display how the universe is huge around us.

A sunny afternoon admiring the flowers and the view of the ocean. It is very relaxing and beautiful.

Basket of break with an olive oil bottle and 2 cocktails, reflective background

This painting shows a bouquet of pink tulips in a light-blue vase on a counter. It captures the beauty of nature, with soft pink petals and bright green leaves that give a warm, natural feel, celebrating the simple beauty of fresh flowers.

Three koi swimming peacefully in the pond.

The more polluted the planet, the more humans damage the environment around them, the stronger the effect on polar bears. Their habitats are slowly disappearing, slowly melting year by year, leaving them without a home. The bears are then left to wither away.

A tropical island with many creatures.

A tranquil still lake in the middle of a lush forest full of nature.

Bathed in the soft, warm glow of the golden sunset, two swans swim gracefully in the lake, enjoying the beautiful moment of sunset.

Colorful sunset acrylic painting

A graceful bird, wings outstretched in flight, swoops down towards the waters surface to capture a promising meal. Not too far below, a largemouth bass lunges upwards, its mind set on the same goal. There is no hope for the small fish, but who will win the battle to claim its life?

I wanted to show emotions like frustration and how it feels when you’re not being understood. The bright colors show strong feelings, and the hands covering the eyes make you think about what’s hidden. It’s about seeing the world differently, even when things are unclear. how we can feel when someone blocks what we see or makes us feel small.

Through the layers of colored pencil, this piece captures the essence of the Phoenix. Strokes of vibrant reds, oranges, and golds are carefully woven together to portray the fiery intensity and ethereal beauty of this traditional mythical creature. Rising from the ashes to embrace renewal and rebirth, the Phoenix is a timeless representation of resilience and transformation and a symbol of prosperity and peace.

A hummingbird in the nature under sunshine

This is a piece that features both traditional East-Asian architecture and modern skyscrapers. It creates a contract between past and present.

This painting captures a world full of childlike wonder and imagination. A little cat sits quietly beneath the branches, intently listening to the gentle whispers of the rustling leaves, as if hearing a mysterious and fascinating story. The cat perks up its ears and widens its eyes, radiating curiosity and focus, as though it’s engaging in a wordless conversation with the leaves.

"Narwhal City in Motion" depicts a vibrant metropolis atop a giant narwhal, blending nature and architecture in a floating, ever-moving world.

Reflects the dramatic actions happening around us.

On a calm morning, dad panda enjoys his bamboo breakfast, wearing a playful jack-o'-lantern hat. Nearby, two little pandas, dressed in Christmas and New Year hats, happily play together. The scene blends warmth, joy, and festive spirit in a peaceful start to the day.

Acrylic painting of a vintage, teal lawn mower. It includes shiny metal.

This painting showcases colorful corals, wavy seaweed, and shimmering sea turtle shells. Killer whales rule the sea with their mighty pod, while fish flee in fear. Moray eels leap out to catch their prey.

A painting of a glass piece shelved in The Getty, hewn from the material of the Earth

My painting depicts a peaceful retreat in nature, where a child sits comfortably in a transparent cube, immersed in a book. Surrounded by lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and a waterfall, the serene environment highlights the connection between imagination and the natural world. The cube symbolizes a personal haven, blending the joy of reading with the tranquility of an idyllic tropical paradise.

This painting captures a peaceful moment in nature. A gentle deer stands by a calm stream, taking a sip of water as ripples form around it. Surrounded by lush greenery and soft reflections, the scene feels serene and full of quiet joy. This young artist tries to express a sense of calmness, reminding us of the simple happiness found in nature.

This is a drawing of a super cute panda climbing and hugging a big, strong tree branch! The panda looks so happy and snug, and you can almost feel how soft its fur is. I wanted to show how pandas love trees and how they feel safe and cozy in nature. I hope you like it!

I saw a pretty scene when I dived with my mom at La Jolla. Late that night, in my dream, it became amazing and strange. I'm excited to show my surrealist painting.

Ancient Style

Freedom, dreams, and beautiful colors

This collage is inspired by Eric Carle. It is a mermaid. The mermaid is Jinjin’s favorite character. It has chin-length hair. Its color ranges from a dark, murky blue, to faint traces of a bright, vibrant orange, to a deep red. Its skin is a pale peach, and her magenta eyes are rimmed with purple eyelashes. Her tail has multiple colors in it, from a dark green to a sandy yellow. Her body is covered in pink seashells with blue lining.

I loved evening teas with my friends, so I drew my friends having a evening tea with my pets.

This picture draws a traditional lion dance during the Chinese New Year. The lions are painted in bright, vibrant colors such as orange, yellow, and purple, with intricate patterns and details. The scene captures the movement of the lions, their heads held high with expressive eyes, and their bodies flowing gracefully.

Children carry a pure innocence with them, one that influences their curiosity. They are never afraid to ask ‘why’, and love exploring new things. Without much hesitation, they bravely dive into things headfirst with an open mind, learning new things and gaining new experiences. But as we grow older and lose our childhood innocence, our curiosity begins to fade.

Even if you have tiny thoughts, they can grow to become something big.

Using surrealism, I portrayed animals living in the African savannah, a once peaceful habitat. The hands tearing open the sky represent humans breaching the wild through deforestation, building factories, and allowing trash to pour into the homes of these animals. With this artwork, I hope to inspire others to raise awareness and help protect our environment.

The bengal cat looking/staring at something or someone

The landscape bursts with vibrant shades of blue, green, and white, creating a scene full of energy and beauty. The snowy mountain stands tall while the flowing river and rolling hills bring movement and color to the wild and free nature of the painting.

Coy fish

In this piece, I made everything black and white so that the purple bird could contrast with the background. Each of the references was from my own photos, but I modified it into a scenery. To me, the bird represents freedom and hope, which makes it stand out more.

The inspiration of this paint is from one building i visited at Barcelona. It shows the beauty of the architecture.

I drew a picture of two zebras together, symbolizing friendship and togetherness.

The Monarch butterfly soars through the sunlit winter, in search of sweet nectar. Its wings glisten, carrying an air of freedom. This little traveler journey far and wide, longing for a warm place to call home.

A large, golden-hued pumkin sits at the center, radiating warmth with streaks of orange, yellow and red, as if reflecting the autumn sun.
